Program Information

The Anatolian chamois is, along with Chartreuse chamois, the most difficult subspecies of rupricapra to get. The few annual licenses into the market, and therefore, the price of each one, make this sub-species of Rupricapra one of the most desired for collectors and mountain hunters. It is a particularly elusive chamois, its habitat is mixed, living on the border between the forest and the open areas. The density of this chamois is not very high and therefore it is difficult to spot big groups. It does not have an excessively large trophy, a 95 CIC point chamois is already considered a trophy-size animal. It´s hunted with the support of a vehicle -the area has forest roads  accessible by 4×4- and stalking on foot once the animal  has been located.
